Building The Station

Follow along as we turn a space at Wang Hall into a new campus dining destination. Real updates, real photos, real progress.

Dining room layout & robot delivery path planning

We completed a detailed measurement and layout session for the dining area. Table and chair placement was taped out across the floor, aisle clearances were checked, and the team mapped space for future robot food delivery routes so the room can support both comfortable seating and smooth service flow.

Front-of-house & kitchen — first round of cleanup

The dining area and kitchen got their first real cleanup pass. Up front, table hardware arrived, decorative wall panels are in place, and pendant lighting is already hung. In back, the commercial fridge, prep station, and exhaust hood are staged and ready for the next round of equipment work.

Beer line removal & walk-in cooler deep cleaning

Another round of back-of-house cleanup moved forward inside the cooler area. We removed old beer supply lines and continued a deep clean of the walk-in cooler to clear out legacy equipment and prep the space for the next phase.

Infrastructure & deep cleaning

Major cleanup continued across the back-of-house areas. Old electrical equipment was removed, expired seasonings and stale inventory were discarded, and the cold storage room got a thorough scrub-down to prep for the next phase.

Window prep & front-of-house setup

Work kicked off on the storefront — temporary window coverings went up while the interior buildout continues, and shelving in the front area was cleaned and reorganized to make room for the next phase.

This is just the beginning. More updates coming as we build toward opening day.
